These are transitional times in the history of the church and God is initiating a change in the world among His people. It is evident through a sagging economy, to the rising price of gas, same sex marriages, to the first African-American elected for President, and to the rising number of un-churched people in our community.
This fellowship is made up of a group of churches connected in fellowship by like-minded leadership, committed to one another to bring about the fulfillment of purpose to the body of Christ. Today, this fellowship has grown to include 9 churches located in the states of California, Kansas and Oklahoma. Through this fellowship, the 2nd chance Ministry conference, later called the “Kingdom Impact” conference was born. This conference has hosted prominent speakers and gospel recording artists recognized nationally which include Dr. Suzan Johnson-Cook, Pastor Lyle Dukes and Grammy award winning Mary-Mary, Karen Clarke-Sheard, J Moss, Micah Stampley and Kurt Carr.
Faith Fellowship Bible Church is continuing to organize ministries that will help people grow into and within the kingdom of God. The Women of Faith, The Men of Faith, Life Partners, Golden Years, Youth/Young Adult and Second Chance Recovery Ministries are all examples of how this church is making an Impact in the Kingdom of God.
Church History
In the beginning, after wandering in the wilderness of identity for a year, Pastor Mark A. Williams, wife Nadra, and 62 faithful people, committed to following the call of God on their lives. The path included Bible studies in the house of Jessie and Jean Farley on Saturday’s; worship service at the Dynasty Suites; to worship services at the Corona Library, to occupying our current building under another name.
Finally, arriving at the promise land of purpose and after living out Romans 8: 28, believing that all things work together for good for those who love the Lord and those who are called according to his purpose, Faith Fellowship Bible Church was organized with 162 charter members on June 24, 2001. Being fully committed to becoming a church true to its name, Faith Fellowship Bible Church made a complete break from the traditions of the past while becoming a group organized by faith and making a new kind of fellowship a priority. Placing the Bible in its rightful position, being free to worship in spirit and in truth, we believe that the city of Corona is our set place and God has ordained us to grow and prosper in this great city.Over the past 10 years, God has done great things in the life of this church. We have added 1800 plus members, baptized over 350 new souls, ordained 23 Armor Bearers, and over 20 ministers have announced their call to preach.
